In this case study, the part was a medium volume application for high performance automobiles. Since all the return bends were the same size, a single-turn coil was used to slip over and braze the inlet/outlet joints.
This customer was small and had only one employee skilled enough to braze these bends with a torch. If the skilled employee was out sick or on vacation, production stopped.
