How to Safely Change a Coaxial Cable

Step-by-Step Changing Procedures

  1. Disconnect power from the unit.
  2. Turn off water.
  3. Remove left panel and plexi-glass.
  4. Remove nuts holding down the coax to the mounting plate.
  5. Remove the two water lines that are connected to the coax mounts.
  6. Pull the screws from the mounting plate that holds the coax to the generator.
  7. Remove the three hoses that are connected from the generator to the coax and label them.
  8. Remove the ground cable and the coax handle cable.
  9. Your coax is now free.
  10. With a coil installed, blow air through all lines to clear all water.
  11. Replace coax following same procedures backwards.

Caution!Caution! Do Not cut the larger hose on the bottom.  It has power leads in it!
